SARS Coronavirus Envelope Recombinant Protein

39-118 0.1 mg
EUR 556.8
Description: SARS Coronavirus is an enveloped virus containing three outer structural proteins, namely the membrane (M), envelope (E), and spike (S) proteins. Spike (S)-glycoprotein of the virus interacts with a cellular receptor and mediates membrane fusion to allow viral entry into susceptible target cells. Accordingly, S-protein plays an important role in virus infection cycle and is the primary target of neutralizing antibodies.

Coagulation Factor III / Tissue Factor Recombinant Protein

11-118 0.1 mg
EUR 714.3
Description: Full-length tissue factor (TF) is a transmembrane receptor and cofactor for factor (F)VII/FVIIa. In addition to full-length TF, an alternative spliced (as) form of TF can be generated that lacks the transmembrane domain and is released fromcells. In contrast to TF, asTF has low procoagulant activity because it lacks the transmembrane domain. Tissue factor is expressed by cells around blood vessels, such as adventitial fibroblasts, and body surfaces, such as epithelial cells, and plays a critical role in hemostasis. TF also contributes to various forms of thrombosis. Many cancers, particularly adenocarcinomas, express high levels of TF. A high level of tumor TF expression is associated with poor prognosis in many types of cancers, including breast, prostate, colorectal, and pancreatic cancer.

FABP3 Recombinant Protein

91-118 0.05 mg
EUR 651.3
Description: Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3 (FABP3) is a small cytoplasmic protein (15 kDa) that is released from cardiac myocytes following an ischemic episode. Like the nine other distinct FABPs that have been identified, FABP3 is involved in active fatty acid metabolism where it transports fatty acids from the cell membrane to mitochondria for oxidation. FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-types. They form 14-15 kDa proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids. They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation. The FABP3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells. This gene is also a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer. FABP3 is a sensitive biomarker for myocardial infarction and can be detected in the blood within one to three hours of onset of pain.

Astrocytic Phosphoprotein PEA-15 Recombinant Protein

92-118 0.05 mg
EUR 651.3
Description: Astrocyticphosphoprotein PEA-15 (PEA15) is a death effector domain (DED)-containing protein. PEA15 is mainly expressed in the central nervous system, principally in astrocytes. Increased PEA15 levels affect tumorigenesis and cancer progression. PEA15 is overexpressed in breast cancers and gliomas as well as in type 2 diabetes. PEA15 blocks Ras-mediated inhibition of integrin activation and modulates the ERK MAP kinase cascade. PEA15 also inhibits RPS6KA3 activities by holding it in the cytoplasm. In addition, PEA15 inhibits both TNFRSF6 and TNFRSF1A mediated CASP8 activity and apoptosis. At present, PEA15 expression is also a significant prognostic marker in ovarian cancer.

MTCH2 Recombinant Protein

95-118 0.05 mg
EUR 386.7
Description: Apoptosis plays a major role in normal organism development, tissue homeostasis, and removal of damaged cells. Disruption of this process has been implicated in a variety of diseases such as cancer (reviewed in 1). The Bcl-2 family of proteins is comprised of critical regulators of apoptosis that can be divided into two classes: those that inhibit apoptosis and those that promote cell death (reviewed in 2 and 3). MTCH2 is a member of the mitochondrial carrier protein family that catalyze the exchange of substrates across the inner mitochondrial membrane and is targeted by Bid, a pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family member, in response to apoptotic signals (4-6), suggesting that MTCH2 may play a key role in the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway. The doublet observed in the SDS-PAGE is likely due to incomplete removal of the signal sequence.

CD5 Recombinant Protein

96-118 0.1 mg
EUR 588.3
Description: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD5 is also known as Lymphocyte antigen T1/Leu-1 and LEU1,which is phosphorylated on tyrosine residues by LYN,so CD5 can create binding sites for PTPN6/SHP-1.CD5 may act as a receptor in regulating T-cell proliferation. CD5 is expressed at various developmental and activation stages on human B cells.CD5 is a well established negative regulator of TCR and BCR signalling.CD5-positive cells may also prevent the emergence of autoimmunity by provision of cytokines such as IL-10. Development, selection and function of different B- and T-cell subsets or their preferential survival may be directly or indirectly dependent on different glycan structures associated with CD5 or CD5-like molecules.
